Since 2006, we've mostly travelled stand-by and we've gotten used to it. There are places we never made it too: Tahiti, Big Island, Champagne, Venice, Barbados, Turks and Caicos; and some amazing places we discovered by mistake: London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Cayman... We've been lucky to always find an upside to these last minute changes of plan.

This trip to the Bahamas won't be any different. But, this time, the flight isn't full, we've just plain and simple missed it. We ran and ran as fast as we could, but the transfer time between quitting our jobs and casting the lines was too tight. We got to the gate late and missed our connection.

Next flight to the Bahamas on the schedule is August 2013. We're stuck at the airport for a while, lets make the best of it.
