After spending three weeks tied up at the dock, Olive finally got to go for a quick sail today! We still had to work on the house in the morning, but a late afternoon sail is always nice, even in heavy rain. As thunderstorms were hovering over Plattsburgh, we decided to head north towards Monty Bay. Protection wasn't as good as we expected it to be from a south-easterly wind, so we came back to the marina for the night. It was the right decision as the clouds broke up when we entered Treadwell Bay and provided us with a beautiful sunset and a rainbow to the east. Tomorrow, Olive is going back to St-Paul to have her autopilot replaced. About time!
Bonjour and welcome
We're Caroline and Michel.
Water Music is back in the North, looking forward to the next leg of her voyages.
